More than decorative accessories, each unique piece undergoes a creative process beginning with the selection of the shape and size of simple hand blown jars made with recycled glass from Spain and Italy. Hanigan then uses her imagination and talents to fill the jars with faux fruits and vegetables curated from all over the globe.
Each piece of artificial produce is airbrushed to achieve authenticity, then, using a refined technique, Hanigan sculpts a visual cascade of bountiful riches preserved in a special solution. Fashioned to retain the contents shapes and colors Hanigan’s secret solution is non-toxic and comprised of organic, healthy, food grade additives.
